You should change the name "points" to mesos. Since you do turn them into mesos. You could also have a lil meso icon next to it.

No.
Just kidding.
The only potential problem I'd see with that is that your points are not your mesos. It's a completely different ratio. i.e. 5,000 points is not 5,000 mesos.

Yea i saw this problem as well. I think it's fine as points. Anyways we already have a redeem points page.

I'm still working on it, but i think it's currently fine the way it is.
